Top News and Most Recent Feed On Facebook
Facebook feeds are typically divided into two types, one among them is the top news feed and most recent news feed is the other one. You can find how they look in the following screen shot.
So, Most recent feed is the default feed that is selected in all facebook profiles. This feed fetches the latest feeds that come your way from your friends. Top news feeds are derived from the most recent feeds based on the popularity of the share among your friends. To get on to the top news feed, your share must either get some good number of likes or comments from your friends.
You should also see the search bar in the above snapshot, this is basically used to search for existing facebook friends and pages. You can also search for new friends right from this search box.
Accessing friend requests, messages and facebook notifications became much easier. The numbers 1,2,3 shown in the following snapshot represents these options respectively.
